E xperience We have a staff, which averages over 13 years of M/E experience working with some of the leading consulting engineering firms in the State of Texas. We continue our controlled growth, adding to our staff with similar established engineers and designers to provide you with the expertise you need. R esponse We are a service-oriented consultant. We listen to the needs of the Client, and respond quickly to address communications and Client needs. Our project managers all carry mobile phones and/or digital pagers for easy access and fast response to Client needs when they are away from the office. We have our own internet presence with a secure on-site e-mail server to assure speedy communications via e-mail. We take this Client loyalty seriously and demand nothing but the best of ourselves. C apabilities Bay & Associates, Inc. utilizes today's best computer technology. Every part of our business, which can be automated by the use of computers and "tried and tested" software has been done to provide reliability, and efficiency. Individual employee's workstations use 800MHZ Pentium® III processors integrated through a high speed local intranet, and connected to the world wide web through high speed DSL service. Individual workstations utilize "stand alone" software and have UPS (battery backup) to ensure that power glitches never cause a delay in the project. Each workstation has CD/RW capabilities for non-volitile daily backup. A secure main file server utilizing Windows® NT with a Raid level 5 drive array provides our main file storage. Our main file server and email server are provided with "smart" UPS backup. In-house plotting is provided efficiently with a state-of-the-art Hewlett Packard Series 1050 plotter which can provide up to 36"x48" plots in as little as 60-seconds each. We use Windows® 98 with Autocad Version 2000i and Microsoft Office 2000 as our primary productivity tools. Our word processing is performed with Microsoft Word, spreadsheets utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook 2000 is used as our primary communication and organization tool to ensure the flow of information between internal and external team members and our Clients via our intranet and email capabilities. Each employee has individual email boxes and Internet access at their workstations for business use.
